About MOUSE

Roll the mouse around the mat and watch the computer screen.
Usually you will see an arrow or a line moving around.
When a little hand pops up, you have found a link.

These are often underlined words in colour like this. But they can also be a picture or a logo or a button.

If you press the left mouse button on a link, you will go to a different webpage, or to another part of the same webpage. This is called 'clicking on a link'. (The mouse on some computers only has one button. If so, press that one.) A link may take to to somewhere in the same website, but you might go to a website on a different computer, perhaps even in a different country.

If you don't know what to do next on any webpage, just move the mouse and watch for the little hand symbol to find a link. Then click on that link.
